I hope everyone had a good Christmas. I enjoyed myself back in Wales, hence the lack of appearance around her for a few weeks. So I spoke to someone at the hospital 3 weeks ago who told me that my lap would be in Jan, but that they were waiting for Jan's diary dates to come through before they could give me a date. The surgeon had told me at my previous consultation that if endo wasn't found and he could rule out my symptoms being gynae related, he would refer me to the bowel specialists.
So my worst fear really was to wake up and find out nothing had been found, and then it's back to square one.

I am booked in for what feels like my 100th lap (not quite but scarily close to double figures now!) to remove more endo which has returned since my last lap in january. I'm really hoping this lap will get me back to my old self and that that along with acupuncture i can maybe have a good 2010. I was told in September I needed another lap and would have another hysterscopy again general but hadn't heard anything more. So I finally gave in and called my gynae's secretary last night and told them I have been slowly getting worse. Must have worked because I got a call this morning booking me in for my lap early February. I have to have a hormone injection 4-5 wks before my surgery. I've had endo for nearly 10 years. I had my 2nd LAP, of the year, yesterday late afternoon and came out at 11pm last night as i didnt want to stay. This time the consutlant cut out the deeper endo and had a further look around as this was his first time seeing inside. This was due to having another consultant before who referred me to a specialist in endo and pelvic pain after perfomring my first lap.

New to this board, came across it today looking for more info about Endo, as I was diagnosed and treated for it yesterday.

Everything went great yesterday, most of the pain afterwards was due to the gas that they put into your stomach. I usually react badly to the anaesthetic but I was fine yesterday.

Today, that pain has eased and my tummy and incisions are quite sore. I expected this anyway.
