My bowel endo surgery is booked for the beginning of Dec.  I am having a bowel resection in 2 places, including my rectum removed as well as a cyst removed and
my tubes straightened.  I will also have a temporary stoma bag.

I was given the date of my surgery today and met with the consultant.  I am having my operation on 4th Dec.  I am very relieved to have the date although
another 4 weeks in pain is not ideal.  At the same time, I am petrified as well!  Of all of it!

After making a total nuisance of myself on the phone to the John Radcliffe staff, I have managed to get a provisional surgery date in December!

I was referred to Mr McVeigh originally &amp; have met him once - due to meet again at end Nov to discuss MRI findings &amp; plan surgery in detail, as was
expecting him to be surgeon.

			<description><![CDATA[ Hi Girls, Thought I&#39;d just give you all a wee update. I had my surgery last Wednesday. It all started well with the surgeon doing it all via laparoscopy.
Removed my left ovary and tube and lasered the rest of my endo. He also managed to seperated my bowel from my cervix, said it was a right mess! Anyway the
bowel surgeon peeled off some endo from my bowel. They were about to stitch me up and realsied that I had a tiny hole in my bowel! In other words they nicked

unstick whole lot from bowel (may also be in bowel too, so might need bowel resection = deep joy).

I am now 6 weeks post lap number 2, this time there was some excision of old active endo done, dye test, and I had the mirena fitted. I can&#39;t believe I
feel worse then I did before the op! In the first few days after I felt really good, and then wham!! it hit me. I am still taking tramadol, paracetamol and
diclofenac all day everyday, vitamins, iron, extra vitamin C to keep the germs away at work, but still I feel awful. I can&#39;t sleep very well as everytime I

Had my lap yesterday luckily I was first in as my blood pressure was quite high, so down at theatre for 8.15am. They couldnt get a vein for ages to put I had
five people tapping my arms, eventually got one and before I know it was in recovery. I had to be kept in till late last night as pulse was up and felt sick so
could nt eat. Had morphine for pain relief and the usual ibrofen, paracetamol and dyhydrocodeine. Had my wounds glued together (Three in all).  The gynae cam

nicely.  The one, however, in my belly button has not stopped seeping blood and is swollen and painful around the area.  I constantly have to have a dressing
