It&#39;ll be 9 weeks this week that I had my abdominal hysterectomy.  I&#39;d been told by my gynae that my ovaries would go and had 3 zoladex injections
leading up to the op - they decided to leave the ovaries during the op as I&#39;m only 40.  The first few weeks I seemed to be recovering fine but found it
really painful to pass urine.  After 3 weeks, my gp prescribed antibiotics and diagnosed a bladder infection.  5 weeks on, I was in agony - right and left

Sorry its been a very long time since i&#39;ve been here.  Hope everyone is keeping as well as can be.  i had by Hyst 3 years ago now with 1 ovary removed, my
existing ovary failed 1 year ago and i went quickly into the menopause with every symptom possible!!  My GP could not get my HRT correct so i am now under a
Menopause clinic in London.  They have now put me on Oesrogen Patches and Vagifem and Testosterone Patches. These have helped greatly but i do get symptoms at

			<description><![CDATA[ <p>This is the first time I have posted on here and have been reading with interest other ladies experiences.  I had my first lap in Feb 09 to diagnose endo. 
I was put on zoladex initially and then prostap but had an unusual allergic reaction to the drug.  The surgeon then agreed to surgically remove as much endo as
possible.  I went into hospital last thurs for this proceedure and was shocked to wake up in recovery to find that he had not removed any!  He said it had

I was given a diagnosis of endo 7 years ago. I have had 2 laparotomy&#39;s and 1 scope and was lucky enough to have 2 children without having to have IVF (they
are my miricles because we were told that that would never happen).

			<description><![CDATA[ I&#39;ve had a letter from my consultant today to say the scan showed gallstones and thickening of the gallbladder and he is recommending surgery to remove
the gallbladder.  I&#39;m not happy about surgery again but at least it&#39;s not a recurrence of endo.

I had a vag hyst last May for excessive bleeding and endo - took about 3 months to recover and then had about 6 months where I was almost pain free but still
had some twinges.  Over the last 6 months I have had more and more pain that seems to be from my ovaries - mainly right sided.

I have been referred back to my gynae consultant and am just waiting for my appt to come through

Back in 1994, my Mum had a hysterectomy with one diseased ovary removed. She had had very heavy, flooding bleeding that prevented her leaving the house for 24
days in the month that was believed to be the result of fibroids. She didn&#39;t ever experience any pain. When the surgeon performed the hysterectomy he left

			<description><![CDATA[ Last weekend I was rushed into hospital suffering severe abdominal pain. The doctor in casualty thought I probably have gall stones and will need surgery but
the consultant on the ward was questioning me about my previous endo pain.

 He&#39;s got me thinking about things. For those who still have endo pain, does it feel the same as pre hyst?

Sorry to post, but I&#39;m feeling really rough. I&#39;ve been in more pain since I stopped the Zoladex and changed to Decapeptyl, but my bones wouldn&#39;t
take any more, so I&#39;m now on Decapeptyl. The Rheumatoid Arthritis isn&#39;t too vile right now, as I&#39;ve had 3 weeks of steroids (so I could function

I am new to this site - had a hysterectomy 6 years ago including loss of ovaries due to large fibroid but had suffered from endo for years and surgeon said
that I had severe endo when he did the surgery.  I went on HRT as the hot flushes were just too bad to put up with but he told me there was a risk the endo
might return.  Clearly it was highly likely that it would return as it was diagnosed in early 80&#39;s treated with Danazol which worked well and really
