Has anyone had this operation? I really don't know what to expect. I'm booked in for it on 16th December. So I'm starting to worry now as it is near to Christmas and I'm worried about recovery.

apologies this is just a pain complain message, just really down. I've started my new job and i've had a really bad day with pain today and feel awful and alone. Sorry I haven't posted for a while. I have been reading posts though.
Well my urology appointment is finally tomorrow. I'm getting really scared now as to what they are going to say or do. It seems like ages when I had my scan which found urine retention. I am still suffering with pain and I just hope that they will do something tomorrow. I am getting so fed up. I just feel that I am being pushed from one Department to another. I am new here and thank God I found this place, it seems very supportive. I have not been officially diagnosed with endo but have been having irregular periods (between 28 and 47 days normally but sometimes up to three months apart) I also have heavy ones and always have had the pain but last four years is much worse. I am after some information for my dear sister who lives in Leeds.

She has been diagnosed with endo and is ttc. She is considering going to see an endo specialist to see if she needs another lap (her first lap was in August 2008) before continuing to ttc or further fertility treatment.

Can anyone recommend an endo specialist up north? My sister lives near Leeds but she would be willing to travel. I had all 4 wisdom teeth removed under sedation this morning and i am in agony. I am un-decided whats worse. Endo pain or this.... anyhow i was wondering if anyone had any advice as to what to eat? my jaw is so tight and painful i can bearly talk. I just tried to eat some chicken noodle soup but i can't get my mouth open enough to put the spoon in!
